Is responsible tourism worth it?  Responsible tourism is a conscious and sustainable way of traveling that try to minimize the environmental, economic, and social impact that tourism can have. It is a way of traveling that respects the local culture and nature, while at the same time contributing to the development of the host communities.  To practice responsible tourism, it is important to learn about the sustainable practices of destinations and tour operators, as well as consider the impact of our own decisions as tourists. Some recommended practices include choosing sustainable accommodation and activities, respecting local culture and customs, and reducing the consumption of natural resources and energy.  By practicing responsible tourism, we can contribute to preserving the natural and cultural resources of tourist destinations, as well as supporting the economic and social development of local communities. ¿CÓMO SE VIVE LA SEMANA SANTA EN ECUADOR?

La Semana Santa en Ecuador es una festividad religiosa importante que se celebra durante la semana previa a la Pascua y está marcada por consecutivas procesiones, misas u otros eventos religiosos que conmemoran la pasión, muerte y resurrección de Jesucristo.  Una de las tradiciones más populares en la Semana Santa de Ecuador es la ruta de las siete iglesias (Iglesia San José, Iglesia San Alejo, Iglesia Santo de Domingo, Iglesia de San Agustín, Iglesia La Merced, Iglesia Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles, Catedral Metropolitana de San Pedro Apóstol) en Guayaquil. Esta ruta consiste en visitar siete iglesias diferentes en la noche del Jueves Santo, en las que se reza y se medita en los diferentes momentos de la Pasión de Cristo. Holy Week in Ecuador is a major religious holiday celebrated during the week before Easter and is marked by consecutive processions, masses, or other religious events that commemorated the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  One of the most popular traditions in Holy Week in Ecuador is the route of the seven churches (San José Church, San Alejo Church, Santo de Domingo Church, San Agustín Church, La Merced Church, Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles Church, Cathedral Metropolitan of San Pedro Apóstol) in Guayaquil. This route consists of visiting seven different churches on the night of Holy Thursday, where they pray and meditate on the different moments of the Passion of Christ.
